The hack who did “Cloverfield” is doing a remake of “Let the Right One In”
So says Fangoria. By my estimates, it will be somewhere between terrible and god awful. Why ruin a perfectly good, creepy horror movie by Americanizing it? I imagine there will be the creepy cutaways and screams, and it’ll remove most of the strange elements and gender bending. Fuck all. This just puts me in a sour mood.
I still haven’t seen the movie because I was waiting until they released a version with corrected subtitles. has that happened yet?
