My laptop fell off a bench onto a linoleum floor yesterday and so far everything seems to be fine, except that the little USB receiver thing for my wireless mouse got totally busted and now the USB port it was plugged into doesn’t appear to work at all. I have AppleCare and made a Genius Bar appointment for Friday, so this should all be okay, right? Right? Kinda need two working USB ports.

  1. hedgerows said: guh. good luck. i have applecare, and they still try to charge me for repairs every single time i bring my laptop in, even if it’s the same, routine problem that every badly designed macbook from three years ago has.
