Planned Parenthood, Komen & Moving Forward
Someone more knowledgeable about abortion politics will have several books to say about this, but I believe in anti-choice circles, abortions as a cause of breast cancer is taken as a pretty certain fact. Planned Parenthood is seen as inextricably linked with abortion.
The Susan G. Komen website states pretty clearly that there is no scientific link between breast cancer and abortion. I think that the issue here is more that the VP of Susan G. Komen is a very outspoken anti-choice person who ran for governor in Georgia on a platform of defunding Planned Parenthood. She lost, obviously, but is now able to take funding away in a different capacity.
