ohmygod I have so much to do
like: so much to read, so much Census information to download, so many regression analyses to perform
and things to do for the professor I’m working with again this semester as “administrative support”
and update my resume because blah blah blah “networking” and “applying for jobs” or “letting companies/organizations know that I am out there”

but! this weekend was so much fun!
how great are hotels and hotel rooms and the beds that are in those hotel rooms?
(I totally recommend the hotel, by the way)
my cozy lil full-size bed looks so pathetic after sleeping in a king these past two nights
DC is a terrible place full of awful people, which is really a shame because in some ways the architecture and space of the city is very appealing to me
I am very sorry that I didn’t have time to hang out with any of the non-awful people who live there, though (you know who you are and also who you aren’t)
the Segway thing: okay, if you ever have the chance to ride one, DO IT. especially if you don’t have to pay for it. maybe sometimes it’s okay to give into obnoxious tourist desires (especially when you’re not the one who is actually paying for it)
District Commons has some pretty tasty food
if you don’t get stuck sitting behind a dude with a really fat head, The Kennedy Center is an awesome place to see a performance
if you have the chance to see the Mark Morris Dance Group perform, you should do it
